Mother's Day Card

I created this card for the Basic Grey Challenge 28 - Follow The Sketch. I used Basic Grey's Sultry 6x6 paper pad. The stamp is from My Favorite Things, colored with copics and Bic markers. I used a craft knife to trim away the inside of the stamped image, then layered it with dimensionals. I created the sentiment on my computer and punched it out with a Stampin Up punch. Thanks for looking.

Happy Easter Card

I made this card for the BasicGrey challenge #27... to use texture and, of course, BasicGrey product. The texture I added to my card is glitter on Easter Anya's dress (Easter Anya is a digital stamp from The Greeting Farm), dry embossing on the circles, and rhinestones. The paper is from BasicGrey's Sugared collection. I did not have an Easter sentiment stamp, so I created my own using photoshop. Thanks for looking!

Sweet Baby Card

I love Taylor's sketches (TECC60) and finally found time to play along this week. I used Basic Grey's Sugared collection papers and Imaginisce giraffe stamp. I embossed the giraffe with white embossing powder, cut him out and used dimensionals to attach him to the nestibilities oval. The scallop border is a Martha Stewart punch. Thanks for looking.

Pretty Paper

I have had this paper FOREVER! It was one of those purchases...you know the type... I thought it was so pretty, I just had to have it even though I didn't have a clue how, if, or when I would use it. I came across it while cleaning and going through my supplies and decided it was time to do something with it. My original thought was to put a sentiment on the front... maybe using a nestibilities circle die, however, I decided I didn't want to cover up the pretty paper, so the sentiment is on the inside of the card. Thanks for looking.

Friends Scrapbook Page

I really like the blues and greens on this page. The clear frame is from Heidi Swapp, I added white Staz-On ink to the edges and rhinestones on every other scallop. The flowers are from a Sizzix die, cut several times, inked and layered with dimensionals. The circle clip is glued on using crystal effects. Thanks for looking.

MoJo Monday Sketch #77

I have not added a sentiment to this card yet, because I haven't decided if I will use it for a birthday card or a thank you card. I used the MoJo Monday Sketch #77. Thanks for looking.

Baby Boy

The hinges on this are actually functional, it opens up and has a place for a photo. I used papers from the scrap drawer for this one. The giraffe is a chipboard piece I had and the title is chipboard letters (Heidi Swapp... I think). Thanks for looking.

Stamping Bella Birthday Card

I have had this Basic Grey paper for quite some time and although I think it is very pretty... every attempt I made to use it just didn't work out. When I saw Amy's sketch on Friday, I decided to just make it work. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. Thanks for looking.

Make A Wish

I opened one of my scrap drawers, determined to use some of them and this is the result. The cupcake is paper pieced... I ran the bottom portion of the cupcake through the crimper and added some rhinestones and a metal flower to the top. The swirl and sentiment are both rub-on's from a very large stash of rub-on's. Thanks for looking!
